JK government issues dedicated phone numbers of senior officers for people

In a significant move JK administration on Tuesday has issued five dedicated telephone numbers for the general public for reaching out to the Administrative Secretaries and other officers of the departments for registration of “requests” by a team of dedicated officials allocated for this purpose.
LG Manoj Sinha has been asking his officers to be available to the general people so that they can contact them with their problems. In the recent past he has been advocating for the responsive administration to the needs of common people so that an average citizen feels that the government is listening to him.
According to the JK government the dedicated five telephone numbers are 0194-2506144; 0194-2500115; 0194-2506102; 0194-2506111 and 0194-2506112.
“General public is hereby informed that the Government has established a system for reaching out to the Administrative Secretaries and other officers of the departments through registration of requests by a team of dedicated officials allocated for this purpose,” reads a public notice issued by the government.
According to the GNS while reporting about this announcement the government has said in its report, five dedicated telephone numbers have been installed, on which people can call for registration of their requests between 10 A.M to 5.00 P.M on each working day, it said. “Registered requests shall be taken up with the concerned Administrative Secretaries through this Helpline.”
