The government of Jammu and Kashmir has been fighting back the second wave of pandemic with all force. In this direction they have not only gone for lockdown and also easing its phases so that there is no rush in the markets of Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir.

Phased easing of restrictions is aimed at arresting the trend of spread of the infection among the common people and in the same period the government is going for massive testing in the rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir so that all the positive cases of covid-19 are identified and given the proper treatment.

The testing at the village level is going on and all the positive cases in the rural areas are being taken into covid care centers recently made operational by the Jammu and Kashmir administration at the panchayat level by releasing funds for the same.

In the recent past LG Manoj Sinha has visited all the major hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir and has also given instructions to the health department that they should put in more efforts so that the common people get more relief while being under treatment for the covid-19 infection in the government run hospitals.

He has also given strict instructions to the people of his administration that they should go for the vaccination for the age group of 18-45 in all the health centers prescribed by the government in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
