Different trade bodies of Kashmir have said that they are ready to cooperate and ensure all the sops to be followed if the government will decide in favour of easing the curfew especially in Srinagar city.

Many trade unions in Kashmir in the recent past have met Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and have expressed their desire that they should be kept in loop for any unlocking process so that it does not become a one way decision of the government.

In this direction Kashmir Economic Alliance on Saturday held a facilitation ceremony to laud the role of frontline workers who risked their lives to save the precious human lives of covid positive patients.

The news agency KNO in its report about the facilitation by Kashmir Economic Alliance has said that the event has been organised to felicitate the countless efforts by the front line workers from medical department and civil administration.

Talking about the unlocking phase, he said that they have spoken to both divisional and district administrations and have urged them to take trade bodies on board before deciding about the unlocking process.

He also said that if the decision about the unlocking process is taken they will ensure all the Covid Sops are followed.

Notably, Jammu and Kashmir is undergoing the second Covid-19 wave and after a spike in Covid-19 positive cases, the government has imposed Corona curfew in all 20 districts of the UT.

Meanwhile, during the felicitation ceremony director SKIMS Dr Ahanger and Dr Naveed Nazir were also present on the occasion.
