On spot assessment
LG Manoj Sinha apart from holding meetings has been going to different regions of Jammu region to have on spot assessment of covid containment measures taken by his administration.
In this direction he recently visited many districts especially the hilly areas of Rajouri, Reasi, Kathua etc. He gave lot of instructions and directions to different wings of the government so that the grievances of the common people are addressed without any delay.
During these visits he gave directions that health officials should test, track, treat the patients suffering from covid-19. He described it as a key for transformation of health infrastructure key to fight COVID pandemic.
New oxygen plants to become operational soon, adding 4250 LPM Oxygen capacity at Poonch; 3250 LPM at Rajouri & 1000 LPM in Reasi, were some of the figures released by the government as given to Manoj Sinha by his administration. If the oxygen plants are operational at a massive level in such areas, it will save the human lives and will also address the shortage of oxygen cylinders in various district hospitals especially in the hilly areas of Jammu region.
In the recent past Jammu region has witnessed more fatalities then Kashmir region and the government is trying to address the issue by looking into the reasons of why such a huge number of patients have been consumed by covid-19 in Jammu hospitals.
