Care for the patients
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha in the recent past held series of meetings with his bureaucrats in order to set in motion massive testing and vaccination process so that human lives are saved in Jammu and Kashmir from covid-19 virus.
In this connection in order to have an on spot appraisal of the situation he visited many hospitals especially in rural areas in order to see how the health officials were helping the covid infected patients in these government covid care facilities.
He recently visited some of the rural health facilities in Jammu region and took on the spot appraisal of Medical facilities available in GMC Kathua, District Hospital & Covid Care Centre at Samba.
He directed all the health officials especially senior Doctors to increase the rounds to Covid-19 wards for best possible care of patients.
He gave these directions after some attendants’ complaint to him that paramedical staff and doctors were not coming regularly to the covid care wards and alleged negligence on their part to treat covid positive patients.
Manoj Sinha said that in order to combat infections of such scale and quantum, the government will have to upgrade the health facilities in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
