Female pillion rider dies on spot after falling from bike
A woman pillion rider died on spot after falling from the bike in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The incident occurred in Gund Jahangir area of Sonawari Division of Bandipora.
Locals told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a pillion rider lost balance and fell from the bike. The female rider died on the spot.
Locals alleged that road is not motorable as it is dotted with countless potholes. “Every driver loses control while plying on this road while it is extremely difficult for the bikers to maintain balance on this road,” they said.
The deceased female has been identified as 48-year-old Zeba Begum, a resident of Gund Jahangir. (KNT)
