Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has told all the Deputy Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir to maximize their efforts on the ground so that grievances of the general public regarding the pandemic and its fallout are addressed without any further delay.
In the recent high level meeting chaired by Manoj Sinha he stressed its bureaucracy to work on war footing for the establishment of covid care centres at the panchayat level in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier Manoj Sinha directed his bureaucracy to release the money without delay for the establishment of five bedded covid care centres at the village level.
All these directions are coming from LG’s office amid growing cases of covid-19 at the village level. The most frightening aspect of this infection is the black fungus and one such case has already consumed life in a Jammu Medical College.
The authorities in the Jammu region despite their efforts have not been able to contain the number of fatalities due to covid-19 infection in the recent past.
Now the senior doctors have confirmed that the black fungus infection was present in the Jammu region. It has really alarmed the common people who have been positive of this infection.
The recent death by the black fungus in Jammu region, is already a case post covid complication as the victim was positive to infection and recovered before getting infected by black fungus.
