Authorities seal two schools in Beerwah

While the government has banned all the offline classes in all the educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir, many schools in the villages are running the classes, bringing to risks lives of students and teachers.

In this connection on Thursday authorities sealed two schools for violating Covid-19 guidelines in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Reports said that in many villages schools are being run by the management thus violating the sops and other norms set by the government.

The government has already banned class work and has said that any violation by any educational institution will invite stringent action under law against them.

According to the KNO news agency the authorities after receiving a complaint visited these schools and found them running community classes.

He said both the schools in Chewdara village of Beerwah namely Al-Huda and Al-Asar were found open and running community classes. “Both the schools were sealed by the authorities.”

He also appealed to the people to cooperate with the admin and follow the instructions and guidelines issued by the government from time to time.
