Teenager allegedly commits suicide in Ganderbal
A teenager allegedly committed suicide by hanging self in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.
Official sources said that the youth was found hanging from a ceiling fan at this residence in Gund area in Ganderbal. “Other family members immediately took his to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead,” they said.
“It was immediately not clear why he took this extreme step,” they said, adding police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the circumstance which forced him to end his life.
They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
