Four injured in Kangan car accident

At least four persons were injured in a road accident that took place at Baranabugh area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.

An official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that four persons received injuries after a vehicle (Alto 800) bearing registration number JK16A-9788, they were travelling in, fell into a deep gorge at Baranabugh.

The injured persons identified as Firdous Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohammad, Aaraf Ahmad, son of Arshad Ahmad Mir, Danish Ahmad Mir, son of Manzoor Ahmad and Zahoor Ahmad Raina, son of Ghulam Hassan—all residents of Wangath Kangan were taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) kangan, where doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident and investigation has been started. (KNO)
