Second wave of covid-19 has brought new fear among the people in Jammu and Kashmir as the young people are not only getting infected but some of them lost battle with this virus.

In the past few days fatalities have increased and among those who died from the corona virus include Youngman from Jammu and Kashmir.

While fighting the pandemic JK administration is trying its best to keep the health infrastructure ready so that they can cater to the growing number of patients who got infected by covid-19.

Low level of oxygen in some patients is forcing them to move to the hospitals for the support of oxygen and the bed capacity is showing the signs that covid designated hospitals are almost full.

Apart from making micro containment zones, going for random testing and vaccination for the people above the age of 45 are some of the measures taken by the government to arrest the trend of growing infection.

Recently the government has also started weekend lockdown and for the first time in the second wave 34 hour long curfew was observed in entire Jammu and Kashmir to flatten the curve of covid-19.

But the matter is very grim as the number of deaths have increased and it has frightened people as the coffins are coming to the localities from hospitals.
