Woman, son killed in road accident at Qazigund
A woman and her son were killed in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Wednesday evening.
Official sources said that a speeding truck hit and critically wounded a woman and her son at Qazigund in Anantnag on Wednesday evening. “The injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where they were declared brought dead,” they said.
They said the deceased were identified as Ruby Jan and Jasir Ahmad. “After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives for last rites,” they said.
They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident.
