Dalgate shopkeeper association appeal SSP to nab the killer of Riyaz

Riyaz Ahmad Koul R/O Nai Sadak who was working in a shop in Dalgate, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital on Thursday triggering protests and widespread anger among the locals. Dalgate bazaar committee General Secretary in a statement has appealed to SSP Srinagar to arrest his killers so that they get exemplary punishment.
According to the shopkeepers association during the night of Shabi-Baraat Riyaz Ahmad Koul was beaten up with iron rods by the unknown burglars who had come to loot the shop where he was working as a salesman.
In a serious condition Riyaz was taken to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries evoking protests in the area and the demand is growing that the police should not leave the culprits who have killed him.
