Kashmir has good signs of tourism getting picked up as the spring has brought hope to the tourist players that the current season would be a success.

In the recent past there is visible tourism in Kashmir valley and the government will host a six-day ‘Tulip Festival’ next month to celebrate the arrival of spring, promote tourism, and familiarize visitors with the Valley’s rich culture and tradition.

Tulip garden has become one of the main attractions for the spring and it is Asia’s largest garden laid in the lap of Zabarwan hills overlooking Dal Lake.

There is also an almond flower festival organized in Kashmir valley and at Badamwari thousands of people have already visited this garden to enjoy the spring season.

Locals are also coming in large numbers to these two gardens in Srinagar city, to enjoy the spring season along with tourists. Government is also giving a required push to the tourism industry and in this direction in the recent past they have held a series of roadshows and have organized a lot of travel campaigns so that Kashmir valley is back to business.

The spring season has brought a fresh hope among the tourism players in Jammu and Kashmir that they will earn at least to come out from the debt trap as there have been frequent spells of dry seasons.
