Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has figured in the recent supplementary charge sheet filed by NIA in connection with Davinder Singh and Naveed Babu case.
She has also received summons earlier from the Enforcement Directorate to appear before them at New Delhi office. After taking recourse to the court, finally Mehbooba Mufti decided to cooperate and was questioned for hours at the ED office in Srinagar.
After the questioning session, she told the media that she was being victimized by the central government for standing with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that she will continue to raise her voice so that the snatched rights of the people are given back.
She said there will be no change in the party’s strategy for fighting for the rights of people and she is committed to continuing her battle for the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
While through light on the case for which she was summoned to the Enforcement Directorate office of Srinagar, Mehbooba said she was asked about the sale of ancestral land at Bijbehara and also about the secret money she had distributed to the widows when she was chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti has described all the cases against her as a political vendetta and has claimed that she will continue to raise the voice for the restoration of rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in spite of all such pending cases against her.
