Teenager injured in a mishap by CRPF vehicle

Reports from Saida Kadal area of Srinagar said that a teenager was seriously injured when he was allegedly hit by a Central Reserve Police Force vehicle which according to the locals was going at a very high speed.
Locals told the media that this speedy vehicle of CRPF critically injured the boy and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have identified the injured boy as Safran Ahmad (16) son of Ghulam Mohammad Kathjoo, a resident of Naidyar and his condition is stated to be critical.
His relatives told media agencies that he was undergoing treatment at SMHS hospital. “He is being operated upon at the hospital while his condition is said to be critical” one of his relatives told a news agency.
Meanwhile, medical superintendent SMHS, Dr Nazir Choudhary told the media that the boy is under observation and was inside the operation theatre and said that the doctors were doing their best to save the teenager.
