With the sudden rise in both minimum and maximum temperatures in Kashmir valley, many of the spring flowers have already sprouted and the gardens are giving a glowing look.

Tourists are enjoying the early spring while going to the gardens in Kashmir, but there is a warning from a weatherman in Kashmir that now the weather will take a new turn.

There would be rains, clouds and snow and it is not good news for the coming of early spring to Kashmir valley. With buds already out on some fruit trees also, any spell of snow and rains would be devastating for these trees.

According to the MET department there is possibility of heavy snow over the isolated places especially in the upper reaches and it can trigger landslides also.

With a pleasant spell of spring being enjoyed by the people of Kashmir and the tourists alike, the prediction of rains and snow has a mixed feeling over the people.

Even Asia’s largest Tulip Garden situated on the banks of Dal Lake has been opened much before its time and the snowfall would be really a spoiler of a spring season which is bringing cheers on a whole lot of people especially on those people who are connected with the tourist industry.
