In the recent past Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha held a series of meetings with the administration in order to give a boost to the developmental scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

In this direction he recently in the administrative council meeting cleared the much awaited ease of doing business order as now there would be no need of registration and NOC for setting up of any industrial unit on small or large scale.

Central government recently allowed foreign envoys especially from the European Union to visit Jammu and Kashmir as the central government wanted them to see the change themselves on the ground post abrogation of article 370 in the union territory.

The visit was also important as the central government recently after 18 months of curbs on the high speed internet have eased these restrictions and now the 4G services are back.

It is also having more importance as the central government recently held the DDC elections and they want to showcase it as one of their achievements on the ground and want to show this model of giving powers to the local leaders to the European ambassadors also.

While interacting with the Foreign Envoys, the Lt Governor spoke on the developmental changes J&K is witnessing and gave them a lot of instances and also the policies corrected by his administration so that this union territory moves on the path of development smoothly.
