Yet another parliamentary delegation came to Kashmir to have an on spot assessment about the departments for which they are in the parliamentary standing committee.
This delegation during its visit in Kashmir has met a lot of delegations connected with tourism culture and transport sectors and had a detailed discussion with these delegations.
These delegations have given a lot of suggestions to the parliamentary delegation of how to bring out the tourism sector especially out of this uncertainty as the pandemic lockdown has totally paralyzed this sector in Kashmir valley.
This parliamentary delegation should in their standing committees put forth all the feedback which they have received while being in Kashmir especially from the delegations and stakeholders.
The committee has also taken stock of various developmental projects, tourism revival and road connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir. Road connectivity is a big problem in Kashmir valley not only the inter connectivity but also it needs alternate highways and the tunnel on the Mughal road should be started at war footing so that during the winter months Kashmir does not face the problem of essentials and the connectivity by surface remains.
