There has been a war of words between the National Conference and JK Apni Party especially after the recently concluded DDC elections. The National Conference has been accusing Apni Party of being a B team of BJP and trying to pouch on its elected members in order to grab powers in different districts.
Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently made it clear that the Altaf Bukhari led party is a clear B team of BJP and is being helped by Police and Administration to take away the elected members of PAGD.
The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference recently rejected the coarse assertions of Apni Party President against NC leadership as unfounded and baseless, saying the sordid remarks reeked of his frustration on account of people’s rejection of the King’s Party across J&K.
The National Conference said it’s ironic that the party which comprises defectors and who are responsible for engineering defections in political parties here is giving lessons on democracy and ethics. The same person who has been serving the underhanded assignments of New Delhi in Kashmir since 1984 has surfaced again to normalize the BJPs unconstitutional actions of Aug 05 2019. Despite having fully fledged support from the powers that be, they were still not able to make a mark in the recent DDC elections.
JK Apni Party has come under sharp criticism from PAGD leadership for trying to get their members and get the power of DDC’s in various districts.
