Not only Mehbooba Mufti has erupted in anger blaming the government of keeping them away from common people in order to disallow them from proper campaigning.

She said that even the press conference she had scheduled was disallowed by police and were only trying to confine all the leadership of PAGD so that their puppets and installed people can go to the people for votes.

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah while reacting to the house arrest of Mehbooba Mufti said personal liberty is treated as a favor by the government, giving and withdrawing it at will, with no interference from the judiciary.

“Parking a truck in front of our gates is now standard operating procedure for this admin. They did the same to my father recently to stop him from praying. Personal liberty is treated as a favor by the government, to give & withdraw at will, with no interference from the judiciary,” Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter.

In the past few weeks soon after PAGD decided to participate in the DDC election along with other by elections for panchayats and ULB’s, blame game has started between the administration and leadership of PAGD that their candidates were being kept in secure places in the name of security and the candidates of BJP and other parties were allowed with security cover to campaign.

Mehbooba on Thursday tried to visit Pulwama in order to meet the family of Waheed Parra, her youth wing leader who was arrested by NIA recently and was taken on 15 days remand.

Mehbooba tried to hold a press conference on Friday afternoon and it was also disallowed by the authorities, triggering angry tweets by her leveling serious charges on administration and BJP.
