Omar tweets, PAGD wants early hearing in SC about article 370

National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah tweeted on Monday that recent meeting of PAGD it was decided that they will explore the possibilities for an early hearing to the writ petitions challenging the August 5, 2019, decisions taken by the central government including abrogation of article 370.
Omar in his tweet said, “As decided in the recent meeting of the People’s Alliance we are seeking early hearings in this matter so that the petitions challenging 5th Aug 2019 move forward,”
Sajad Lone headed People’s Conference has already filed a plea in the Supreme Court asking for early hearing on the writ petitions regarding the article 370 pending before it.
PAGD has decided not only to fight on the political turf by participating in the DDC and panchayat elections but also to look for the options available like the Supreme Court to fight the legal battle also with the BJP government.
