Omar Abdullah told the media outside the residence of Mehbooba Mufti that she has been invited to sign the Gupkar declaration as the mainstream political parties have decided to fight collectively against the abrogation of article 370.

Talking to reporters Omar said that it was a courtesy call by him and his father to Mehbooba Mufti after she was released from 14 month long detention.

Earlier Farooq Abdullah in an interview said that they were in touch with Mehbooba Mufti on a weekly basis and closely coordinating with each other for the future political strategy.

Many political activists including former minister of PDP were coming to Gupkar residence of Mehbooba Mufti to meet her and enquire about her health.
