Justice to families
The families of three innocent youth who were killed in the Shopain fake encounter are waiting for justice in their village at Rajouri. They have been demanding stern action against the culprits responsible for this crime and have been assured by the government that justice would be done at any cost.
Recently Manoj Sinha reached out to the families of the three youths of Rajouri district who were killed in an alleged fake encounter by the Army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district in July, he said that he will ensure that these families get justice without any delay.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said he was told by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convey to them that they would get justice and his effort to reach to these families has been acknowledged by the families.
Expressing his condolences, the Lt Governor said the UT Administration would extend full support to the families and ensure that they get justice.
He also conveyed to the family members of the three slain men the “message” of the Prime Minister that the government stands with them in this hour of grief. It has been the effort of Manoj Sinha that the police started investigation into the case after some social media accounts said that the killed militants in the Shopian encounter were innocent laborers from Rajouri who had come to earn some money in the orchards of Shopian.
Police recently said that they were at the verge of completing the investigation into this case while the army has already said that they have initiated action against their men involved in this encounter under rules.
