While the authorities have decided to open schools starting from today in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, most of the parents preferred their wards to be at the home rather than in the schools.

Reports from many schools said that only few students turned up in the morning and went back to their homes after consultation with their teachers.

Though most of the private schools have made the arrangements as per the SoP’s of the government, but government schools were opened without proper fumigation and sanitization.

In the rural areas of Jammu, in most of the government run schools, no student turned up for the classes. Government has decided to open the schools from today while keeping all the precautions for the students not to get infected.
