New Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has taken a right step by going to the field and feel the ground rather than getting the feedback from his officers at Raj Bhawan.

This change of attitude has resulted in some accountability in the administration and has also forced the common people to look for the future steps of Raj Bhawan to redress their grievances.

Lieutenant Governor in the past few weeks have visited many districts of Jammu and Kashmir and met dozens of public delegations, getting a ground feedback about the claims of administration that they were working for the well of the common masses.

Manoj Sinha expressed his displeasure reportedly over many developmental issues and told his officers that he will not allow things to be “as they are”. In the various meetings, he made his displeasure known to many senior officers including police.

Recently he held a press conference and announced J&K Integrated Grievance Redressal System for the timely redressal of people’s issues stating that there will be round the clock monitoring of the complaints and grievances lodged by the people.

Such steps will definitely make the people to understand that in the coming months if they lodge complaints against the officers they would be redressed and those officials who are responsible for the callous behavior would be punished.
