Protests after downtown roads neglected for black topping

Srinagar: Spontaneous protests were sparked off in various parts of downtown especially in Sheikh ul Alam Colony Kawdara and other adjacent localities as the authorities ignored this road full of craters for black topping.

The protesting people of the locality have appealed Chief Engineer concerned along with Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to visit the area and end this neglect of the area.

They have appealed to the authorities to complete the black topping of Sheikh ul Alam Colony Kawdara road without any further delay and not force the people to go for protests in the pandemic.
