While the transporters connected with tourism are without any business from the past 13 months, the passenger transport has come on Srinagar roads only recently.

They have to bear the brunt as most of the people avoid using passenger transport due to the looming threat of the Covid-19.

Prepaid transport for the tourists is without any business and at all the business points of Srinagar they are sitting idle without any hopes for another few months for the tourism to pick up.

JK administration has yet to announce any package for this sector as hundreds of families only in Srinagar city are connected with tourism transport.
