Shopian gunfight: Two more militants killed, one arrested
Srinagar: Two more militants of Al- Badr were killed, taking toll to four and one caught alive during live action in ongoing gunfight between militants and government forces in Kiloora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian.
Local news gathering agency Global News Service (GNS) quoting unnamed officials reported that two more militants have been killed, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
Sources further said that during live-action one militant was caught alive.
Earlier, according to the reports reaching, a joint team of Police, Army’s 44RR and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Kiloora.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.(GNS)
