Army personnel slips to death in north Kashmir
Army personnel died after he slipped into a nallah in Machil area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir on Thursday.
Unnamed official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS) that the army’s lodged a written report in the police station that personnel identified as Aamir Hussain Wani of 56 Rashtriya Rifles slipped into the Katwar Nar Nallah and was found unconscious. Later, he was shifted to a local camp for first aid where doctors declared him brought dead.
They said police have launched proceedings under section 174 of Crpc. “The body has been shifted to Public Health Centre Kalaroose for postmortem,” they added. (GNS)
