Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday shared a graph criticising the Narendra Modi-led government’s management of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Quoting Albert Einstein, he shared short video of a graph on Twitter showing how the economy took a nosedive while the number of COVID-19 cases skyrocketed.

In the animated graph, Gandhi showed how two lines–one for the economic growth and the other for coronvairus cases–evolved during four phases of nationwide lockdown.

Earlier this month, Rajiv Bajaj, MD at Bajaj Auto, participated in a social media interaction with Gandhi, where he said the national lockdown has managed to flatten the GDP curve and not the Covid-19 curve.

The Congress leader has been criticising the government’s efforts to manage the pandemic. He has also been asking the Centre to provide cash in the hands of the people and to the small industries, to enable them to restart the economy, which has suffered a setback due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
