Jagmohan’s Adviser In 1990, Ved Marwah Dies

SRINAGAR: Ved Marwah who flew to Srinagar as the Chief of the National Security Guards (NSG) in 1989 and laws later appointed as the adviser to the then governor, Jagmohan has died, reports said.

Marwah was 87. He died in Goa. Later, he was appointed as governor of Mizoram.

Reports said Marwah was admitted to a private hospital in Mapusa where he breathed his last. He was in the hospital for almost three weeks after he had a fall at his home.Shri Ved Marwah Ji will be remembered for his rich contributions to public life. His unwavering courage always stood out during his career as an IPS officer. He was also a well respected public intellectual. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers.
