10 cops quarantined after accused tests positive at PS Kupwara
Kupwara, May 29, KNT: An accused detained at police station Kupwara was tested positive for Covid-19 infection on Friday.
After the report surfaced, at least 10 contacts of the accused all policemen were quarantined.
Reports said that two accused were facing detention at police station Kupwara. One of the accused was tested positive and shifted to hospital where he has been kept in isolation.
Reports added that the associate of infected accused was quarantined along with 10 other cops. Among those who have been quarantined is the Cook of the kitchen, who served food to the infected accused.
Confirming it, SSP Kupwara, Shri Ram Ambedkar told news agency KNT that an accused has been tested positive while 10 cops who are all his contacts have been quarantined. (KNT)
