Why India Punish people of J&K when Centre blames Pak, asks Omar

Srinagar, May 28, (KNS): Criticizing Central Government for not restoring 4G internet service in Jammu and Kashmir, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah questioned why people of Jammu and Kashmir being punished when centre blames Pakistan for militancy and other anti-national activities.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Omar said activities of Pakistan in J&K was beyond the control of people for they are not responsible but still are being punished. He also said that no big economic and development activities on the ground and no democracy and here he J&K government admits to a worsening security environment. Ten months later the report card does not look impressive after August 5, 2019.
Taking to micro blogging site twitter he said, “The centre blames Pakistan for all this. In which case why are the people of J&K being punished for things beyond our control and for which we are not responsible?”.
“No big ticket investment, no economic activity, no development activity on the ground, no democracy & here the J&K government admits to a worsening security environment. 10 months later the 5th Aug 2019 report card doesn’t look impressive”, he further tweeted.
Abdullah, who is currently in New Delhi on a private visit, was responding to media report which reads “ Ban on high speed internet in #Jammu and #Kashmir to continue till June 17. J&K government cites #Nawakadalencounter, attacks on security forces, infiltration in coming weeks due to onset of summer and melting of snow”. (KNS)
