Covid-19 71 year old elderly person after death tested positive
Srinagar, May 16, KNT: An elderly patient was tested positive after his death at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura Srinagar today.
“The man died in the hospital at around 8 in the morning. He was feeling uneasiness and breathlessness. After his death, we collected his samples, and he was tested positive. The patient has no travel history and is 71 years old,” Medical Superintendent Dr Farooq Jan told new agency KNT.
He said that the deceased hails from Chadoora village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
He said the patient had never arrived in the hospital before his death and he was never tested for Covid-19 infection.
With this death, the number of persons died due to Covid-19 infection has reached 12, among which 11 are from Kashmir and one from Udhampur. (KNT)
