Amid lockdown, Korel village without electricity

Villagers of Korel of D.H Pora Kulgam have appealed executive engineer and other official of PDD to set right their damaged transformer as they are without electric supply from the past 10 days.
Villagers told this reporter that they approached the ground staff of the PDD in the village and they refused to help. Villagers said that amid lockdown, they are reeling under darkness for more than 10 days now. They have appealed officers especially PDD officials to set right their transformer at their earliest.
Villagers said that in the adjacent villages also the electric supply remains erratic and disruptive. They appealed the authorities to provide them electric supply and not force them to come on streets.
