Mehbooba Mufti shifted to her residence

Former Chief Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti was shifted to her residence by authorities but her detention continues. Mehbooba has been detained from the past 8 months and presently she is under PSA detained by the authorities.
Although former chief ministers Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have been released, Mehbooba Mufti continues to be under detention and the ground intelligence reports have been not favorable for her release. Omar Abdullah has recently asked the central government to release her but she has been now shifted to her residence as the central government has yet to take a call for her release.
Authorities have revoked orders of many detainees in the recent past due to the covid-19 threat. Most of the separatist leaders and activists who were detained in August last year and shifted to different jails outside are still not being released.
