DDC Ramban launches website to register volunteers to prevent COVID-19
RAMBAN, APRIL 07: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan, today launched a website rambansahyog.com to register the volunteers who can help in fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that district administration has taken this novel initiative for ensuring better coordination among various departments besides mitigating the difficulties of the general public caused by the ongoing lockdown following the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
DDC said that website has been created by the NIC team lead by DIO, NIC Naveen. He said that this website aims at facilitating all those volunteers who wish to get themselves registered for carrying out the philanthropic social work like distributing food grains, other essential commodities and other sort of help to the needy persons.
He further said that this website would help in easy registration of these volunteers and smooth monitoring of their activities besides the cooperation of the district administration to them.
He appealed to the persons who desire to volunteer his / her service for helping the people of the district fight against the spread of Coronavirus to register their self by using this website.
