Omar Abdullah detention order to be revoked

Official in Srinagar has confirmed that the dentention order of Omar Abdullah under PSA would be revoked on Tuesday today on the instructions of central government. official sources said that in the coming days another detained former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti would be released also. Hundreds of mainstream leaders and political activists and lawmakers were arrested by authorities in the first week of August last year after abrogation of article 370.
It is in place to mention that on the instruction of court the authorities are reviewing all the cases of detentions in Kashmir including those of stone pelters. In the wake COVID-19 authorities are likely to take a final call on bringing back all detainees of Kashmir from outside jails and also about their release.
