Mass contact programme
In the past several weeks on the instructions of LG Murmu, administration has been trying to do outreach to the common people by conducting public grievance programme both in summer and winter capitals in Jammu and Kashmir. In this connection, lot of programmes have been conducted by senior officers and have tried to meet delegations of public in order to understand their problems on ground. In one of such programmes, recently authorities claimed that they have redressed the grievances of public to great extent.
Administration has been trying to reach people at grass roots level as part of routine hearing of public grievances by the Administration, Administrative Secretaries met with general public and panchayat representatives in their office chambers at Civil Secretariat.
During such interactions, dozens of delegations and deputations from across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir highlighted their issues pertaining to their daily lives. The administrative secretaries during such public darbars have asked the people to come forward and build bridges with the authorities so that their daily life becomes easy and without hassles.
According to media reports, most of these deputations in Jammu and Kashmir have been forwarding the issues pertaining to Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Transport, School Education, Social Welfare, Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Cooperative, Tribal Affairs, Home, Planning & Monitoring, Information and General Administration Department.
