Even after administration and the central government have been saying that situation in Kashmir is normal and allowed even the diplomats to visit but business community is baffled by the attitude of the government paying no attention to their requests for the intervention of government to save them from the brink.

Business community recently said that if the central government will not intervene through RBI and help them in the bad loans and also take steps for the revival of economy especially in tourism sector they will come on the streets. Such disturbing reports have come in media that business community of Kashmir has suffered heavily due to the government clampdown post abrogation of article 370 in August last year.

Post August 5, 2019, the entire business community of Kashmir has been badly hit especially the tourist traders. “In the past two months, they have pleading with the government to bring them out but the government is paying no attention.

Recently when different banks and financial institutions tried to recover the loans with the help of police, the trading community in a paid advertisement in the local newspapers, tried to get the attention of central government for their urgent intervention. They even provided the context in that advertisement giving figures that since year 2008 due to Amarnath land row unrest till date, more than one thousand days have been washed away in curfews, clampdowns and hartals.
