Administration busy trying to scare people: Omar
Srinagar : Reacting to reports that scrapping Article 35A is in the agenda of a high-level meeting scheduled after August 15 in Delhi, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said instead of reassuring people in the valley, large sections of the administration are busy trying to scare them to expect massive unrest and trouble after Independence day.
”It’s surprising to say the least that instead of calming tempers & reassuring people in the valley large sections of the administration are busy trying to scare people to expect massive unrest & trouble after 15th August,” Omar, who is the National Conference (NC) vice-president, wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Along with the text, Omar also shared a news item, attributed to sources, claiming that a high-level meeting is scheduled in Delhi soon after August 15 to discuss the strategy as to how Article 35A can be scrapped in Jammu and Kashmir. Agencies
