Mirwaiz Umar placed under house arrest
Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday afternoon was placed under house arrest at his Nigeen residence.
Reports said that a police party arrived at the residence and placed him under house detention without giving any reason for his detention.
