Income Tax dept raids private offices of deputy mayor SMC
SRINAGAR — Days after anti corruption bureau concluded raid on J&K Bank Corporate headquarters here, Income Tax Department Tuesday morning searched the business premises of Srinagar Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran in Sangarmal shopping Complex and Bohri Kadal area of old city.
Reports said the team of officers visited the private office of Sheikh Imran and were scrutinizing the relevant documents.
One official said that a separate raid was also underway at Deputy Mayor’s private office at Nowgam in the city outskirts.
