Encounter started between government forces and militants in Yarwan Shopian
Srinagar : Encounter started between militants and joint team of forces at forest area of Yarwan in Shopian South Kashmir, 02-03 militants believed to be trapped, gunfight going on.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 20 Para, SOG and CRPF launched cordon and search operation on Yarwan forests.
A senior police officer also told news agency GNS that contact has been established with the hiding militants.
As per the sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
