Pulwama Gunfight: Body of third militant recovered
Srinagar: Government forces on Saturday recovered one more militant body at the gunfight site in Panzgam village of Pulwama district taking the toll to three.
The encounter broke out during wee hours of Saturday at Panzgam area of Pulwama.
A police official said that a joint team of forces including army’s 55 RR and SOG cordoned off Bonpora Panzgam after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
The official said that three militants were killed in exchange of fire between militants and government forces. “Three bodies have been retrieved whose identification is being ascertained,” he said.
Internet services have also been snapped as a precautionary measure in the area.
