Bandipora rape: Class work to remain suspended in 10 educational institutes of Srinagar
Srinagar : Following widespread protest by the students in different parts of Srinagar, authorities have ordered the suspension of classwork in three higher secondary schools and seven colleges of Srinagar on Wednesday.
The colleges where the class work shall remain suspended include Amar Singh College Gogji Bagh, SP College MA Road, Gandhi Memorial College Fateh Kadal, Islamia College Hawal, Degree College Bemina, Women’s College MA Road and Women’s College Nawakadal.
The higher secondary schools where classwork will remain suspended include SP Higher Secondary School MA Road, Islamia Higher Secondary School Rajouri Kadal, and MPML Higher Secondary School Baghi Dilawar Khan.
Earlier students from different colleges and secondary school came on roads and protested against the rape of a three-year-old girl in Sumbal area of Bandipora.
