Clashes erupt after forces launch CASO in Tral village
Srinagar : Clashes broke out between the government forces and people in Rathsun village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district after forces launched a cordon and search operation in the village.
Reports said that soon after the operation was launched by a mixed contingent of forces including army, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF, scores of the youth assembled and pelted stones to disrupt the CASO in the area. Forces retaliate with tear gas shells to disperse the protestors.
They said that a cordon and search operation was launched in the village following inputs about the presence of militants
The search operation is going on in the area when last reports came in, sources said.
