Appealing media to highlight their plight, they said that where is the redressal mechanism of Raj Bhawan as claimed by State Governor Satya Pal Malik. The villagers said that Raj Bhawan should get the feedback from the government especially from the far off villages and they will understand how State administration is functioning.

The villagers of Halan Manzgam have appealed Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam and concerned Executive Engineer of PDD to look into their plight and give orders to the concerned authorities to send the repaired transformer to the village so that their five month long darkness will end.
