Srinagar : Government forces detained at least 30 youth from different villages of South Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts during nocturnal raids on Wednesday.
Reports said that the forces during various night raids picked up 30 persons from Tahab and Chewakalan villages of Pulwama.
A police official at Shopian said that the forces raided Vehil and Narwah villages of the district and detained six persons.
The arrestees were lodged in a holding cell at Police station Shopian, the official said.
He, however, did not divulge the reason behind these arrests.
